AJENO follows the journey of John (22), a cross‑dressing dancer from López de Micay who returns to his hometown after fourteen years to confront his doubts about gender transition and reconnect with his past. Along the way, he meets Victoria (50), a trans woman and lecturer who turned the loss of her family into a pedagogical struggle, and Erika del Río (70), an artist and activist who has devoted her life to transforming society through art and resistance.
Between the darkness of his fears and the light of those who came before him, John faces the ultimate crossroads: to choose transformation or permanence, while the story reveals that the true battle lies in securing a dignified place for future generations.
